Firestarters is a great opportunity that we have to go out onto campus and talk to people with the aid of questionnaires, in order to find out what people believe about God and what happens after death, and share what we believe with those who might be interested.
Firestarters is great because...
It's a great opportunity to get out on the campus and talk to students about their beliefs, especially those that might not have any friends who are Christians or don't really know much about what we believe.
It's also a brilliant way to help us as Christians become better at sharing our faith, without it seeming like we're just out to force our beliefs on others.
It helps to fufil the main aim of CU, which is to get the amazing message of Jesus out onto the campus!
We run Firestarters every Wednesday afternoon from 1.30-3pm, and go into the Halls of Residence. We also run it on Monday afternoons, going to talk to people in the Union.
