It's a question that Jesus himself asks his followers. We can't know what sort of experience you may have had with churches or Christians or religion in general, but we beleive that it's so vitally important that each of us examine and answer this question for ourselves.

Over the coming year, we will be running events that help to look at who Jesus is. If you're wondering about the answer to the question "Who is Jesus?" then these events are a great opportunity to explore this for yourself. We warmly invite everyone to our Friday Meetings where we'll be looking at the question, "Who is Jesus?" in more depth.

We're also more than happy to meet up with people one-to-one, or answer questions via E-mail. Our Contact Team is there for just such things and they'd be happy to get in touch with you.

On the online resources page there are two very helpful outlines of what Christians believe, called Two Ways To Live and Knowing God Personally - both are well worth checking out.

Also, the article below is very helpful for understanding what the Christian message is really all about. Here's a quick summary:

  • That God created the world and therefore He defines, and owns, everything
  • That God created us to reflect Him and live in intimate friendship with Him
  • That we’ve rebelled against God and deserve death and eternal separation from Him (Hell).
  • That God offers us forgiveness and new life through Jesus
  • That we have the chance to turn around and to trust and embrace Jesus.

So who do you say He is? A prophet, a great public speaker, a liar? They are all the same thing in the end.

Or do you accept Him as the Son of God, the Messiah, the Christ, who died to save us from our sins? This is a life and death question.
